Our Charity and Community Work

We want our students to be involved in raising awareness and funding for local and international charities.

 

Our Student Council and Empower, a girls group, are actively engaged with local charities throughout the year and we are very proud of their achievements so far.

 

 

Holocaust Memorial Art Exhibition

Don’t Stand by Me

 

The 27th January each year has become an established national day of remembrance, to remember the victims of the Holocaust and subsequent holocausts, which have occurred in conflicts since the Second World War.

 

The Stafford Holocaust Memorial Service takes place at the Collegiate Church of St Mary, Stafford on Wednesday 27 January 2016, at 11am, in the presence of the Mayor of Stafford and members of the Borough Council, and other guests.

 

As part of the day of remembrance a week long exhibition in the church of artwork relating to the subject of Holocaust and the film “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas”. Artwork has been produced by students at Stafford Manor High School. The exhibition opens on Monday 25th January until Sunday 31st January.

Brake Competition

As part of the Royal Stoke University Hospital festive anti drink-drug driving campaign, students submitted their ideas for a poster and banner and won the competition!!  Posters have been displayed in communal areas of both Stoke and Stafford hospitals and banners displayed at all major access routes.
