An email from the school immunisation team regarding vaccinations for Years 8-10

"Dear Parents,

Due to the current Covid-19 situation all planned school age immunisation sessions have been put “on-hold”  as per national guidance.

We are currently awaiting guidance and direction from the Government and Public Health England in the next few weeks on when we will be able to provide school age immunisations going forward.  In the meantime, our staff are working hard in the background planning vaccination sessions for when “lock-down” is lifted,  so you may receive a telephone call from our team to discuss your child’s outstanding vaccinations.

Should you require any further information please visit our website https://www.mpft.nhs.uk/services/school-age-immunisation

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Take Care and Stay Safe

School Age Immunisation Team"

Dear Parent/Carer,

SMHS has been chosen to work with the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and the University of Manchester to pilot an initiative to help young people with their understanding of mental health. YAM is a mental health promotion programme that seeks to enhance young people’s knowledge on mental health issues by providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore topics such as stress, crisis and depression, self-help and sources of support.

Please find linked below an information sheet which provides further details.
