Information on the latest activities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND) and their families is available online.

Activities are open to young people and their families who live in Staffordshire. Each child/young person can take part in at least one free activity a month and additional activities (for which there may be a charge) can also be booked.

​

Dear Parent/Carer,

SMHS has been chosen to work with the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and the University of Manchester to pilot an initiative to help young people with their understanding of mental health. YAM is a mental health promotion programme that seeks to enhance young people’s knowledge on mental health issues by providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore topics such as stress, crisis and depression, self-help and sources of support.
